Baby Bump

I wanted to take a picture every single week in the same place... That has not been happening. This is what I have- A combination of pictures, some taken by Parker, some taken myself, all from my iPhone, most taken when someone specifically has asked for a picture. But you get the idea. I am going to try to get one every week now that I actually have a pretty good sized bump.

Namesake

My dad is a Junior.  He shares a name with his father. And after being an all girl dad, I am the closest he has to a name sake. But now he will share his name with a grandson too.
Parker chose the middle name. After his granddad, because Parker has the best kind of granddad.
It was something we had talked about before I was pregnant.  It was really important to both of us to give our child a name with meaning.
From the moment we were told, "This is a boy" our little one has had a name.
Jack Vincent Robertson
It is a lot of namesake to live up to. But I think he will carry it well.

Two years

Last week Parker and I celebrated our second anniversary. It was a perfect day.

I am so blessed to be married to the love of my life and my very best friend.

Parker-
Two years ago I bet eternity on you... It is the best thing I have ever done. You continue to make my life better and better. Thank you for that. I love you.

Visit from the In-Laws

Parker's parents came to visit us and we were so happy to see them.

It is extra fun when they come to see us because we get to show them the little day to day aspects of our life here in Logan. Although I do love visiting them at their beautiful home in Nevada as well. It is crazy to think that the next time we make the drive out there we will have our little one! Speaking of driving with the little one...
You know the Jeep... we love that jeep. It is the car I learned to drive in. And it has seen us through a lot. But there is no room for a car seat in the back. We knew that we needed a new vehicle before our little guy got here. And lucky for us Parker's parents are incredibly generous. They drove their Honda Pilot out to Utah and left it with us! Check "mom mobile" off the list of baby needs. I am overwhelmed with gratitude by their generous gift.

The Pilot is the car Parker learned to drive in.  His mom drove him to countless games and practices in it. And now I will get to drive our little boy around in it. We can't say thank you enough.

For the first time in several years Parker got to see his mom on Mothers Day. He made a nice dinner for all of us and we really enjoyed having that time with them.

Oh and Daxter just loves them. He showed off the whole time they were here.

We had a wonderful time. Michelle is coming out for my baby shower at the end of the summer but the next time I see John will be in September when they come out to meet their very first grand-baby. I am so excited if you couldn't tell. And they are pretty excited too!

Be Inspired.

Blogging has been on the back burner lately. I have been so busy with work, family, and getting ready for this baby. I have so much to blog about and no time to blog. But today I want to share a link with everyone who swings by this page...

This link will take you to a video of my brother in-law's uncle. I have been deeply moved by the determination shown by this man and his family to spread the message "Anything is Possible".

Take some time, watch this video, maybe even send a vote his way.
