Remember Remember... June 29

Yesterday fate stepped in and dropped a coupon in our mail box for a two dollars off a movie at the 3 dollar movie theater. Which obviously meant,

because those movies are awesome.  A little racy, pun intended, but seriously.  And then we decided to take a stroll down main street.

There is a little place on Main Street here in Logan called Books of Yesterday. It is a really old book store and has millions of old books and not one book that has been written since I was born. Ok maybe that is an exaggeration but this is fact: If they ever shot a horror film in Logan someone would be killed down in the basement of Books of Yesterday. Until yesterday Parker had never been.... so we had to make a little stop there as part of our night.
And then out of no where I wanted cow tales.... those weird candies that you can only find in gas stations. Well it took us searching more than one gas station ( come on 711 you really need to step it up) but we found some.
besides having a blast nothing super eventful happened. So anyone reading this maybe thinking hmm why write a post about nothing, this was sort of a waste of my time scrolling down waiting for the point of this post. Sorry I probably should have stated this at the top. This post is just for me, to remember the little things, the really good days, the simple ones.

a much needed update

MAUI!

it was so pretty! and we had so much fun. i had never been and parker was so little the last time he was there he didn't remember most of it so it was fun to be able to explore a new place. the relax time was great the resort was beautiful and the food was so good...
(can you tell where the pool ends and the ocean starts?? thats kind of the point)

i really do know how to spell my new last name. i know it looks like i wrote Robortson but thats an E i promise. so my sandwriting needs a little work... i live in utah, how often do you think i am writing in sand?
we saw a sea turtle! couldn't get a picture of it because we were boogie boarding

and we just really liked this sign

and here is just a little awww moment for everyone. this weekend we went to little gracies dance recital. take a look at Uncle Parker giving this cute girl flowers!
second sweet thing about this picture? check out that good looking yankee hat! no he isn't converted.... but he still wears the hat! we did this really cool thing at the Wedding Eve Dinner my awesome in-laws held for us. parkers family put together a basket of gifts for me to survive life with Parker (tide to go sticks, panda gift cards, his favorite movies ect.) and my family put together a basket for Parks to survive me, (first aid kits, ace bandages and of course Yankee hat t-shirt and game schedule) it was such a fun idea! and look at how great he looks in that hat!

Dad-

(fathers day deal at kneaders)
Thank you for being a great dad and friend. You always taught me to prioritize and it really has helped me in my life. You taught me that my priorities should go a little something like this:
My Faith, My Family, My Responsibilities, The Yankees, Friends, Networking, Telling a True Good Story
Happy Fathers Day!

We're Married!

Sure took us long enough right??

I don't have pictures to post quite yet. Oh don't worry they will come. In the mean time you can check out some pretty sweet wedding pics at tarabutlerphotography.blogspot.com our bridal pictures from before the wedding are on her blog as well. Future Brides that sometimes like to glance over my blog, check her out!! I am so glad I went with Tara as the photographer. She takes amazing photos that really capture the people and emotion in them. Plus she is so fun to work with. You need to like being around your photographer, you spend a huge part of your big day with them. I am so happy that she was a part of our wedding.
June 4th was perfect. I was a little late meeting Parker outside the Temple that morning. His dad kept teasing him that I wasn't going to show up and when I was about 15 minutes late, I think he might have been a little worried. But then I showed up and we went in and got married so it was all good. That's the funny thing about weddings. You spend so much time planning and preparing. During the process you are so concerned about everything being perfect. Then that day finally comes and all you care about is getting married, and after you do it doesn't matter what happens from there- its going to be the best day of your life. As we were getting ready to leave I gave my mom a hug and just told her thanks for being the best mom/wedding planner in the world and giving me such a beautiful day. She told me the day was beautiful because Parker and I are beautiful. I am so grateful for a mother who never gets distracted from what is really important.
Thank you so much to all of our family and friends who came and celebrated with us! We were surrounded by the people we love, what more can you ask for?
So here we are Mr. and Mrs. back in Logan and couldn't be happier.
